Diego Bianchi was born in Buenos Aires in 1969. He is the first artist to be invited to the residency at the Cité internationale des arts, created in 2024 by the Antoine de Galbert Foundation. This residency pays tribute to the late collector Jean Chatelus, who may have encountered and appreciated Bianchi’s work in the 2025 exhibition My Buenos Aires at la maison rouge. His works make extensive use of salvaged objects that are visually transgressive and often evoke organic forms. They are a fitting addition to the spirit of the first four issues of Un certain désordre collection.
